If Tobi is really the undead or resurrected Uchiha Obito (and Kakashi's eye-mate), he wins.

I really think Tobi is uchiha madara, why? Because he claimed himself to be so. Not only that, but wasn't the uchiha that gave kakashi his sharingan the cousin of Itatchi? The one that was obviously killed by Itatchi during one of the flash backs. These are my two-cents into things. It would make sense Uchiha Madara is Madara, but has Naruto been one of those anime's that make sense? It would be an interesting twist if he was actually Obito. But for the sake of a good history and excellent story output please....let him be Madara.
Obito wasn't the cousin that Itachi killed back then. I don't want Tobi to be Obito, too.. I've got a hundred bucks on this! :lol:
I'm not betting on Tobi being Obito because there is an inconsistency with the plot if that happens. The manga author would have to provide a good explanation on how Obito survived with Kakashi and Ren present during his death.

After I saw the video, it made me think that Tobi was really Uchiha Obito. Even in their names you can see some similarities, Tobi = Obito. See? "tobi" was somewhat a rumbled word from "obito" with one "o" being omitted hehehe.
Know what? Here's a new thought: Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Obito, and Tobi are one and the same person!
... although that still doesn't explain Obito's death. There're a couple of loopholes...
ermonrice, I've seen the video you cited. But it still doesn't convince me that Tobi is Obito.
I believe that Uchiha Madara is not Uchiha Obito, because there wasn't an easy way to get out of the rocks he was buried under, unless he was found and healed by a more experienced medical ninja than Rin. I think, that if you go with the patten that Masashi Kishimoto has given, then Obito is a relative of Madara. I think Madara could be Obito's father because if you look at Minato, Shikamaru's dad, Chouji's dad, Ino's Dad, and if you read what Chiho(I think her name was...) said, Kakashi looks exactly like his father! This has led me to believe this.

tobi is uchiha madara in uchiha obito's body... confusing??? We know pein put madara's mind/soul into obito's body... so this are my thoughts..
That's the direction that I thought these chapters point to as well. Pein and Madara have a cooperative relationship in which Pein helps him with body transfer and Madara offers his special bloodline abilities. Bingo! And maybe they come together to solve Minato's seal.
The thing that's kinda interesting is that Madara actually evaluates the strengths of Itachi and Sasuke, which leads me to think that he is still looking for a body, looking for the better of these two than merely complimenting on another Uchiha.
It looks like he is looking for a better body, and sets his eyes on Sasuke. As to why he hasn't got to Itachi's body from all these years... I am starting to think that "hatred" is probly a necessary emotion to counter Madara's body transfer. That's why Itachi emphasizes this to Sasuke. And no residual emotion left in Obito is probly why Madara could take over his body so easily. It's just a thought, but then this would give me a reason to believe that Itachi is still responsible for killing the whole clan to prevent Madara's taking over.

itachi did kill the uchiha clan u idiot read the manga and madara is an old man and obito is the same age as kakashi so madara wouldn't of transfered body's plus the guy who made up that technique died long before madara came out of hiding in the movie "bonds" so reading the manga you would see that Danzou has a sharingan so think about that did madara give danzou a sharingan?
