We Got Married fanatics have already seen this. But I just had to put this up on my own blog.. it really brightens my day!

Cutesy and Cheeky:

Boy or Girl:
Hyun Joong's son is prettier than Hwang Bo's daughter...
> "Whose daughter are you?" - Hwang Bo

Even Decent People Have Goofy Moments

I can relate to this because this is how I usually pose for the camera.

There are just some people who like to have their goofy moments. Even the serious types of people can surprise you. One moment, we're all graceful and serious and smiling innocently and just acting so bashfully...

And then when the flash come on.. Goof Spoof Proof! (I have no idea where I got this phrase.)

Poor Goldilocks... (Where'd you come from anyway?) :p

We Should Make Barcodes Like These..

You have to love the Japanese for being creative and inventive. They're one of the leaders in technology and innovations, started the anime and manga comic addiction, and they can make barcodes like these:

Here's more where they came from: Japanese Creative Barcodes

The Beauty Is a He ... Shucks!

This may be a face that could launch a thousand ships...

.. BUT ... > there's always a "but" < ... she is a HE.

This is Kim Petras, a German boy who had hormone treatments for a sex change operation -- the youngest to do so at the age of 12. He was recently signed up for a German record label. Maybe we'll hear from him -- or her --- more in the future.

I'm sure he was cute when he was guy. But I must admit he's beautiful as a girl, too. I sigh, with frustration as to how an attractive male could have thought to disappoint females like me by denying us a chance to date him. And I sigh... because ain't he just a beauty?!

My Blogger Favicon

See the small image beside my URL address? That's a favicon. It's short for "favorites icon" and is used as a website icon. I wanted to put one on my blog earlier but only go the chance to do so today.

Some say that you have to convert the image to a .ico file in order to put it on your blog. But Web browsers today have eventually made it easier for us bloggers by making a .png and a .jpeg file to become a favicon as well.

Evidently, there are two ways to install a favicon on our blog. One is by converting an image into a .ico file and putting it in the root directory of the blog. Another way --- the easier way and the one I used --- is to put in an ordinary .png or .jpeg file, by putting this command on the head section of your blog's html:

link href="/path/image.png" rel="icon" type="image/png"

My favicon is temporary. I'm still looking for that one image for my blog. I wanted something like the card picture (second one on the right) but the details of the picture wouldn't be seen if the picture was resized to 16-25 pixels. My other candidates for my favicon is pretty much all about the Virgo sign. But I'm still looking, still looking...

Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans

My friend sent me a picture of the famous Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. I guess the product is back in demand in the market because of the latest Harry Potter movie.

I dared my friend to eat some (she ate one but I forgot what flavor it was) and see if she could eat the vomit-flavored or the earwax-flavored ones. She refused. I wonder if her Bertie Bott's Beans will ever be eaten.

White Lion Cubs.. So Cute and Rare!

They're three of the famous white lion cubs that were born last month in Germany. They still don't have names.

I would want them as pets if they wouldn't be so dangerous when they grow up.

More about the lion cubs at DailyMail Online.

Kaka's Luca Celico Leite Is Born!

He's so cute (as are all babies, I know!) and by looking at his parents, he's bound to be a handsome one when he grows up. Ricardo "Kaka" Leite and wife Caroline celebrated the birth of their son Luca Celico Leite just this Tuesday, June 10! Mother and child are doing great and the whole family is obviously excited and very happy.

I'm a little late on the post, but, what the heck, I'm still a fan! So.. Congratulations to the family!

Changing the Template

I got bored with my old blogger template. I still like to look at the header so I decided to adopt it on the new template that I chose. I got another slight headache from looking at the template codes while fixing the blog. Codes and web designs aren't my forte, so I got myself a big challenge here. You can see it's still not done. I've yet to cover the missing widgets.

I think this new template will last long. I'm fickle when it comes to designs and might change the template from time to time. But I think I'm okay with this. For now.

I liked my old template. But I had a visual problem with the font styles and color. Its code didn't offer much for me to change the font (told you I'm not good with codes). So I opted to get another template. Good thing I was able to retain the header (with a little bit of manipulation). ^_^

Regarding this new template, my only problem is the email subscription widget above on the header. I can't seem to get rid of it. I can't recognize the code for it in the template. I got tired of looking over the codes and just left it alone. It might prove helpful one day. In the meantime, when I have the time, I'll get to studying the codes more and figure out what to change to get the widget off my blog.

Finally! This Blog Is In Action!

Frankly, creating this blog has been something short of a headache. It's all because of the template. When I saw this template at JackBook.com, I really wanted it to use for this new blog of mine. I thought it was going to be just a copy-paste routine, but it turned out to be a little more complicated than that.

Instead of the simple copy-paste task when changing your blogger template to that of a new one from an outside source (presently, this would most often only work with classic templates), it seems like I had to upload the .xml file of the template. Now that would have been fine with me, too. I mean this should be easy for me after spending almost two years in front of a computer. But there were other requirements in order for this template to be successfully displayed.

I don't blame JackBook.com for telling us to move the template images to our own Google Pages. The site is pretty neat and has a lot of subscribers that it is only normal for them to worry about their bandwidth. Moving the template images to our own folders would also ensure us that the template will still be up and there if ever JackBook.com closes that specific template down from their site.

Uploading the XML file and moving the template images to my Google Pages was fine. But I don't know what happened on my first tries. The layout turned out missing the header or lacking in images. It wasn't until I started all over again --- uploading and tinkering with the widget errors --- that I finally succeeded. Yes! Really.. it wasn't easy. It was my first time tinkering XML language. I found HTML and CSS far easier.
